What a Find!

Our only disappointment was that this delicious and immaculate little place was only open for lunch. We wanted to eat every meal there. In fact, we missed our flight home trying to to squeeze in one more plate of Amy's roasted pork and another of Debby's rum punches. This was the best lunch spot that we found in St. Croix!

"Both my wife and I highly recommend the West End Grill in Frederiksted.  First, you get Island cooking at its best.  Everything on the menu from the Arroz con Pollo to the barbecued chicken and ribs is just plain delicious.  And don't even THINK about eating there without getting side orders of both beans and fried plantains. Debbie and Amy (the owners) always greet you with a smile and a "thanks for coming in" when you leave.  A meal at West End Grill is like going to your favorite aunt's house for lunch or dinner:  The atmosphere is friendly but the cooking is way, way better!

And finally, but perhaps most important, the daily specials are prepared early so you can have a lunch there during your work day without waiting 45 minutes just to place your order.  If you can't eat in, call early and order take out.  But don't wait too late or they're likely to be sold out of the daily specials.

Chef Amy's food (Amy cares about the quality of the food she serves) and that of her partner Debbie, who  runs the front. 
The West End Grill isn't the latest hot spot, a place to see and be seen.  Rather, it's a place to put in your pocket and pull out
when you feel like the best food on the island.
